Despite being more competent than the aforementioned pillbugs, massive layoffs happened at Shaba, which, while not unexpected, was disappointing, as we were about the venture forth onto the cinematic leg of the project. And with Matt Aldrige’s brilliantly constructed models, it seems a shame to just abandon them without putting a little life into them.

But time for a new chapter. I’ll be starting up on a challenging project for FCB, possibly doing some teaching, and continuing to scout out places to hang my hat. Stay tuned for news of what’s to come, and for those of you lurking about with an opinion or two, what are you waiting for. Rip apart that reel. It won’t improve on its own.
